well the fun day is here.
Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam #1 is finally in stores.
whew! i'm so glad to share this new book series with everyone.
DC Comics has been awesome and i'm having the time of my life working on this project.
please go check it out at your local comic shop, and i really hope you all enjoy it.

Congrats Mike! Long time admirer, first time poster in here.
First thing I thought when seeing the cover was "Herobear goes human". But I think it's OK to rip-off yourself, heh. I can feel it'll be every inch as good as HB&K.
I don't live near any decent comic book stores so I hope I can get it somewhere online. I should be following your other blogs as well. Great stuff in there. Thanks!

I can't say enough good things about The Magic of SHAZAM (although I sure tried over on my blog). You're the perfect guy to bring Cap to a new generation of readers, as well as older guys like me who prefer a Cap who's not lost in the shuffle of the regular DC multiverse.
Here's to a good long run on Magic of SHAZAM.
