i figured since i'd drawn Cap . . . i had to do some Red Skull scribbles too. :) ahhhh, what fun project it would be to do a Captain America miniseries someday. . .
Awesome sketches! Very dynamic and great expressions. Would love to see an animated series with this look and maybe even just stick with red and black?!
Well, I can honestly say I've never seen a rendition of the Red Skull like this! I've got to agree with Hans - this style would make a great Capt America animated series.
I have a hard time seeing this version of the Red Skull as being anymore menacing than Kim Possible's Dr. Drakken...
i'm so glad you all like the cap and red skull drawin's. :) maybe i'll work on some Sharon Carter or Nick Fury too. wow, an Animated Series would be the best. i'd love it. and it would be soooo much fun to do a Cap miniseries for Marvel. as you can see, i would love to design it like Herobear . . . black, white, grey and only the color red. we'll see . . . i actually do have a story in mind . . . i'll have to bring it up to some friends . . . we'll see . . . ;) no matter what, it's just great to draw these characters and have you all enjoy 'em.
Mike, these are awesome. YOu manage to capture so much personality in your gestures.
I came across an old article the other day in ANIMATION MAGAZINE about there possibly being a HEROBEAR movie. Is that still in the works? Cheers, Andrew
