hey all,
so here are some characters and images from "The life and Times of Juniper Lee" . . . the show that i've been designing for Cartoon Network.
it's fun to show the designs outside of the actual episodes, so that you can see the drawings and such up close.
anyway, i'll post more here and there.
hope you all like . . .
:)
all the best in everything,

Juniper Lee is currently running on the Cartoon Network in the US... just not available here in Oz. *frowns*
BUT, the coffee table "Art of..." book should be!!
mike...,
Just wondering. When you're doing
character designs for a cartoon, is
it as a freelancer or are you
'part' of the team for the entire
season ?
Mike!!!
Hey man! Thanks for the kind words on the blog. Great designs for Cartoon Network! Hope your doing well and staying busy. I'll be adding you to my links!
Rob
Hey Mike,
Awesome!!! I'm a big fan of your work and I'm so glad I found your blog, so I can check out some more of it:) I love those Monster designs and the colors are on point as well. Are you working freelance or are you at a studio now? I'm just finishing up my portfolio and was thinking about sending it to CN. I heard from David Colman it should be a great place to work. Please stop by my blog for a cup of drawings, whenever you have a spare moment:)
Take care and have a great day,
Hans

hey gang,
thanks so much for stopping by. this blooog thing is still new to me so i thanks ya for the visits. :)
as far as if i freelance or am in-house . . . i'm working in-house. it consumes me a little bit. makes it hard to get to the personal work sure, but it's great being around so many talented artists.
anyway, thanks again to you all for visitin'.
all the best,
mike . . .
Incredible creature/character design. Love the variety of characters. Their partial suits make me laugh. Thanks for entertaining us.
